Introduction
Before working with us, Nene School of Dancing had no website and no central place where adults could easily find information about locations, class types or dates. Most enquiries arrived through personal recommendations or social media, which made it difficult for new dancers to understand what classes were available and whether they were suitable for complete beginners.
The new website needed to reflect the friendly and encouraging atmosphere of the school, while also making it simple to discover classes, learn about Janina’s teaching style, and register interest online. Our role was to build a site that felt welcoming and reassuring, especially for adults who might feel nervous about taking their first dance lesson.
Mockup
We began by creating a mockup to plan the structure of the website. This step helped us organise the main sections, including class information, locations, instructor profile, gallery and testimonials.
The mockup made it easy for Janina to visualise how visitors would move through the page and how each type of dance would be introduced. It also meant that all key information was included in a clear layout before moving into design, helping us build a website that feels natural to explore and easy to understand.

Website Design
Once the structure was confirmed, we designed the full website in Figma with a focus on creating a warm, friendly and positive atmosphere. The colours, typography and layout were selected to reflect the fun and social nature of Janina’s classes. We used vibrant gradients and cheerful imagery to bring energy to each page, while maintaining clear and accessible navigation throughout.
Photography plays a central role in showing the joy and community that builds inside each lesson, so we incorporated a gallery and expressive images across the site. Subtle movement and gentle interactions were used to add personality and help visitors feel the welcoming spirit of the school.

CMS Setup
To make ongoing updates easy, we built a CMS inside Webflow for latest classes and testimonials. Janina can now add new class dates, locations, teacher notes and reviews at any time, with information automatically appearing in the right sections of the website. This makes the site easy to maintain without needing a developer and helps potential dancers see up-to-date information whenever they visit.
Development on Webflow
When the design was approved, we developed the website inside Webflow, focusing on smooth performance, clear layouts and inviting animations. Each section was carefully built to match the visual style created in Figma. We added interactions and transitions to create flow between sections, and ensured the site works beautifully on all devices.
The result is a friendly, bright and easy-to-use website that reflects the personality of the school and gives visitors everything they need to take their first step into dancing.
Conclusion
The new Nene School of Dancing website provides a clear and friendly introduction to ballroom, Latin and sequence dancing for adults across Peterborough, Stamford and Market Deeping. It offers a helpful overview of classes, an easy way to register interest, and a welcoming space for new dancers who may be nervous about getting started. Built in Webflow with a custom CMS, the site gives Janina everything she needs to grow her school and continue building a supportive community around dance.
