Laura & Barry - Ignite
Laura and Barry Ash run Rock Solid Health, a fitness coaching business. Their burnout recovery work had grown into something different, so Brilliant Digital built it a website of its own: Ignite, designed from scratch in custom code.

The starting point
and the problem.
Laura and Barry started Rock Solid Health as a fitness coaching business. Their own experience of burnout led them to help more and more people recover from it, and that work grew into programmes, one-to-one coaching, talks and a short course.
Fitness and burnout recovery are different things for different people, and one website could not speak to both. The burnout work needed its own name and its own home, so they asked us to build Ignite.
How we made
it happen.
We started with a kickoff call and a set of homepage concepts, so Laura and Barry could react to real designs rather than a written brief. Once they chose a direction, we sent a short content questionnaire to gather the facts every page would need.
The homepage then went to them for review. Laura left her comments directly on the page, we agreed the changes on a call, and we wrote the final copy from her answers and feedback. Every other page followed the same loop: design, build, review, revise.
Before launch we connected a content editor, wired up the contact form, tested every page on mobile, tablet and desktop, and moved the site onto their own domain.

Ignite now exists on its own terms rather than as a corner of a fitness business. A visitor sees who Laura and Barry are, what they have been through, and the honest version of what burnout coaching is before they are asked for anything. The first thing they are asked for is two minutes, not a sales call.
The work they had spread across platforms is in one place for the first time: the programmes, the speaking, the podcast, the books, the course and seven real client stories, each written to be read by the person it is meant for.
They can also keep it current without us. Every page, photograph and success story sits in a content editor, new blog posts and podcast episodes go up through the same editor, and underneath it is still a site written from scratch, with no plugins to patch.
Laura and Barry were very happy with the result and have stayed with us on a maintenance plan, so the site keeps being looked after now that it is live.
