isoLogic

Business Consultancy

isoLogic, formerly Brookfields Consultancy, had outgrown the website Brilliant Digital built them a few years earlier. Brilliant Digital designed and built a new one from scratch on Webflow, structured around a full rebrand and four distinct service lines.

The Challenge

The starting point
and the problem.

Meggan Polston-Edwards started Brookfields Consultancy in 2017 to help small and medium businesses through ISO certification. Brilliant Digital built her first website in 2022, and it did the job it was built for.

Then the business changed shape. One consultant became a team of seven, and the offer split into four service lines: Expert for certification, Protect for health and safety, Thrive for mental health and wellbeing, and Comply for legal registers. A name built around one consultancy no longer described any of it. Brookfields Consultancy became isoLogic.

The old website could not carry that. It was built around one person offering one thing, and the homepage said so: it opened with "Hi, my name is Meggan". Four service lines, each with its own audience and its own visual identity, had nowhere to go. Underneath, WordPress meant plugins to keep patched and security to watch, the wrong fit for a consultancy that sells reliable systems to other businesses. So they came back to us for a complete rebuild.

Our Approach

How we made
it happen.

We designed the new website from scratch and built it on Webflow. The starting point was structure rather than styling. A construction firm chasing SafeContractor accreditation, a finance business preparing for its first ISO 9001 audit, and an employer worried about staff wellbeing are three different people with three different problems, so each service line got its own page, written for the person it is meant for.

The main design problem was keeping those four lines distinct without the site fragmenting. Each has its own colour from the isoLogic identity: gold for Expert, purple for Protect, violet for Thrive, teal for Comply. The colour runs through the navigation and the page furniture, so you always know which part of the business you are in, while the layout, typography and components stay constant so it still reads as one company.

The team page carried more weight than usual. The old site was built around Meggan alone; the new one introduces seven consultants with their qualifications set out plainly, from certified lead auditors to a UK Head of Delegation on the ISO 56001 committee. We built the site on Webflow's content management system, with separate collections for blog posts, ISO guides and case studies, migrated everything across from WordPress, and ran a one-on-one training session once it was live.

The Results

What we
delivered.

  1. 01Fully bespoke website designed from scratch and built on Webflow, moving off WordPress
  2. 02Four service lines given their own pages, each written for a distinct audience
  3. 03Sub-brand colour system so each service line is distinct while the site reads as one company
  4. 04Team page presenting seven consultants and their professional credentials
  5. 05Content management system with separate collections for blog posts, ISO guides and case studies
  6. 06Existing content migrated across from WordPress
  7. 07One-on-one website training session included

isoLogic now has a website that matches the business behind it. Someone arriving because they need health and safety support lands on a page about health and safety, not a general consultancy page with a link buried three scrolls down. The four service lines are visible from the homepage, and each one can be sent as a link in its own right, which matters for a business that sells four different things to four different audiences.

The rebrand has somewhere to live. A name change only works if everything behind it changes too, and the new site is where isoLogic actually becomes a different company rather than the same one with a new logo. The team, the credentials, the audit record and the certification body recommendations are all now visible in a way they simply were not before.

Moving to Webflow removed the maintenance overhead that came with WordPress. There is no plugin stack to keep patched and no security treadmill, and the team can publish a blog post or an ISO guide without asking anyone.

The part we are most pleased about is the simplest. This is the second website we have built for the same client. They came back because the first one worked, and because the business had grown past it. That is the outcome we want from every project.

This is the second website Brilliant Digital has developed for me, and once again they've exceeded my expectations. From concept to launch, the process was smooth, collaborative, and incredibly well managed. They truly understood my vision and translated it into a website that looks fantastic and functions seamlessly. I'm very pleased with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brilliant Digital to anyone looking for a professional, high-quality web development partner.

Before & After
Before
isoLogic — before redesign
After
isoLogic — after redesign

What wasn’t working

  • Built around a single consultant, with no room for a growing team
  • One consultancy offer with no structure for separate service lines
  • Brookfields Consultancy branding that no longer matched the business
  • Content locked into a WordPress blog that was awkward to publish to
  • WordPress platform needing constant plugin, security and hosting upkeep

What we improved

  • Team page presenting seven consultants and their credentials in full
  • Four distinct service lines, each with its own page and its own audience
  • Complete isoLogic rebrand carried through every page of the site
  • Separate CMS collections for blog posts, ISO guides and case studies
  • Built on Webflow, with no plugin stack or security upkeep to manage
