Make Real Progress is a vibrant leadership development brand led by coach and facilitator Katy. While searching for a web designer in Peterborough, she discovered Brilliant Digital and reached out to us to help bring her vision to life. She wanted to replace her outdated WordPress site with a modern, personality-driven Webflow website—featuring bold design, custom animations, and a flexible CMS for easy content updates.

The team at Brilliant Digital have been phenomenal from start to finish. This is the second website they've built for me - I went back to them as they did such an amazing job and have proven over the last few years to have such a high standard of after-care and service. Introduction

Make Real Progress is a bold, modern leadership development brand led by Katy—an experienced coach, facilitator, and speaker known for her high-energy delivery and results-driven approach. While she already had a website built in WordPress, it no longer reflected the impact or personality behind her brand. It felt outdated, lacked visual clarity, and didn’t do justice to her work. Katy came to us for a complete overhaul—a new design and Webflow build that would bring her brand to life online.

Before jumping into design, we began by crafting a strategic wireframe. This low-fidelity layout helped us plan the site structure, content flow, and user journey without the distraction of colours or visuals. It ensured every section had a clear purpose and allowed Katy to review and approve the layout early on. This upfront planning helped us avoid costly revisions later and set a strong foundation for the creative phase.

Website Design

Once the wireframe was approved, we moved into full visual design in Figma. The goal: create a bold, personality-driven website that truly captures the energy and confidence of Make Real Progress.

We introduced strong typography, vibrant gradient flames representing her three service pillars, and strategic black-and-white imagery to highlight key messaging. The layout was structured to guide visitors through her services—Training for Companies, Training for Individuals, and Coaching & Mentoring—while showcasing Katy’s credibility and voice through testimonials, case studies, and video content.

Subtle animations, layered effects, and strong brand visuals helped make the experience dynamic and memorable—just like Katy herself.

CMS Setup

To keep content fresh and easy to manage, we implemented a custom CMS for blog posts, case studies, and testimonials. This allows Katy to update her content quickly—no tech skills required.

Each CMS collection is dynamically displayed across the site: testimonials appear on multiple pages for social proof, case studies connect directly with services, and blog posts feed into key thought leadership areas. We also built in smart filtering and tag systems so content always appears where it’s most relevant.

Now, Katy can publish new content or make edits without ever needing a developer—giving her more freedom to focus on what she does best.

Development on Webflow

Once the design was finalised, we brought it to life with a fully custom build in Webflow. The development focused on performance, responsiveness, and interactivity—using Webflow’s powerful animation tools to create scroll-based effects, content reveals, and smooth transitions for a seamless, polished user experience.

Webflow’s flexibility allowed us to build exactly what we designed—without compromise. The result is a lightning-fast, responsive website that looks and feels modern across every device. Whether users are browsing case studies or watching a DisruptHR talk, the experience feels smooth, thoughtful, and engaging from start to finish.

The new Make Real Progress website is a powerful reflection of Katy’s brand: clear, bold, and full of energy. It’s more than just a redesign—it’s a strategic transformation that elevates her credibility and makes her services shine.

Once the design was approved, we built the site in Webflow, giving us complete control over responsiveness, performance, and animation. The build wasn’t just about making it look good; we focused on delivering a smooth, interactive experience. We added subtle scroll effects, section reveals, and micro-interactions to guide users effortlessly through the content.

Performance was equally important. Thanks to Webflow’s clean code and built-in optimisation, the site loads quickly and looks great on every device. Whether someone is exploring Katy’s services or watching her DisruptHR talk, the experience feels polished, engaging, and built for impact.

CMS Setup

To make sure the site stays fresh and easy to manage, we built custom CMS collections for blog posts, case studies, and testimonials—three key areas that help build trust and authority for Katy’s brand.

This means Katy can add new content or update existing entries from a simple backend editor, without touching the design or structure of the site. Each collection is dynamically displayed across the website: case studies show up on relevant service pages, testimonials rotate throughout the site for social proof, and blog posts keep her insights front and center.

We also set up flexible filters and sorting options, so content always appears in the right context—whether that’s a testimonial pulled into the homepage or a blog snippet featured in the footer. This makes the site not only easier to manage, but also smarter and more scalable.

The CMS gives Katy full control of her content without requiring ongoing technical support, allowing her to focus on what she does best: helping people make real progress.
